Every year festival season comes around and large scale, big business backed music events are nowhere to be found on this side of the Bay Bridge. Music Festivals don’t really happen here, and if they did, they wouldn’t be looking to invite people like us: Black Indie Artists, true to this community, and ready to shake things up. 

FakeFest is our way of creating an opportunity for local music artists to share a stage, and create a better sense of community by coming together to celebrate Black Music, Black Lives, and Black Culture, and to prove the critics wrong. The opportunities are limitless, we can create our own festival to rival all festivals. And we can do it in a positive way. Spreading love, good vibes, and community wellness.
